I am a business gas and/or electricity customer, does this mean I cannot use the site?Business tariffs are individually negotiated with suppliers and thus cannot be put on a calculator. However, the good news is that we have contracts with most of the cheaper suppliers in the market so we can save you money, and we have a team of business advisors to help find you the right tariff.Please click on the 'business gas and electricity enquiries' button on the home page and fill out the pop up or call us on 020 7960 4444 (Mon-Fri 9am-6pm). Once we have your basic details a business advisor will call you back and explain what happens next.
I cannot find my current supplier or tariff Click on the link named 'If you do not see your supplier & tariff, click here'. This will open a pop-up box including drop-down list that contains all the suppliers and tariffs that we hold on our database (this is about 80). Some suppliers also have branded or continue to brand some tariffs with other brand names e.g. Saga gas is actually from Northern Electric & Gas or Npower. A guide to these branding arrangements and hence which supplier to select in these circumstances is contained in the pop-up. There are a small number of fringe tariffs that are used by a small number of customers that we do not hold information on. I am currently on an old or ‘historic’ tariff, what should I do?switchandgive.com contains details of all the major tariffs from all of the UK's gas and electricity suppliers. We also hold details on tariffs which are 'historic', in that, they are no longer available for people to switch on to – but you could still be on them.
